Good news?

Well, we got my results. I'm not diabetic. But that also means they still don't know what's wrong. They said they think it's just the hypothyroidism and PCOS. They said it's not a big deal unless we are trying to get pregnant. And we aren't. We would like to wait until I'm out of school, ideally. The doctor said that when we do decide to have kids it will be difficult. But not impossible. We are in no hurry though. We figure that if we haven't had kids by 28, we will seek help. But I think that when the time is right, we wont have any problem. :) Until then, I am on a no-carb diet and we are getting in shape. It will only make things easier in the long run.

On a different note, I have decided to go back to school to Brown Mackie and get my degree in biomedical laboratory technology. :) (sounds smart huh?) Basically I will assist with research and lab results. It should be fun. Its about time I get my butt in gear and get done. Unless I want to be at Albertsons for the rest of my life. I can't even imagine that. I don't think I can work retail forever. People are just so DUMB! :)

whirlwind of medical problems!

Whoa! its been forever. I am obviously terrible at this blogging thing. Well let me catch you up on everything!
I am still working at albertsons. I dropped out of school temporarily because to be honest I had no idea what I wanted to do and felt like I was wasting my time and money. So this coming fall I am going to go to Brown Mackie I think and get my degree in medical assisting. Kyle is working at T-Mobile full time, Albertsons part time and his own computer business when he has time. He has been a money-making machine lately! :) He also dropped out of school for the same reason I did. Also because his mother has been really sick and so we took time to be with her. He will also be going back soon.
Taking time off has come in really handy though! Kyle and I have had a tough year. We originally went to the doctor because I hadn't had a period in 4 months but every pregnancy test I took was negative. So the doctor said I had Hypothyroidism. they put me on meds for that and said everything would be fine... then this past month I went back in because it had been 10 months without a period. So they ran more tests and said I had PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) which means my ovaries are coated in cysts which makes it so that i dont ovulate. no ovulation = no period. ( i know, TMI!) They put me on a no-carb diet and ran more tests. This morning, they called me again and said that my insulin levels are consistent with those who have type 2 diabetes, yay. So tomorrow I go in again for yet more tests, to find out if i am diabetic. At this point, i just want answers. Diabetes or not, Kyle and I are making life changes. Diabetes will not kill me! :)
My poor hubby has put up with so much! and he is in for much more. Thank goodness he loves me. I am becoming pretty expensive. He has been wonderful. I am so lucky to have him!

It's been so long!

Wow! I can't believe how long it's been! Kyle and I have both been super busy with school and work. I'm really getting to the point where I just want to be done! Everything is going great otherwise. Not really a whole lot of new stuff to report.

One of our closest friends, Darick, came to visit this past weekend. He brought his friend Rob and we had a BLAST! We drank way too much and stayed out way too late. But it was so good to see them. Darick said he got laid off so he will be spending a lot of weekends in Boise.

Kyle and I are finally going to start planning the honeymoon we never got. We were originally going to Vegas with some friends. But we have thought about it and we don't want to go to Vegas. We want to spend some time in a relaxing place, just the two of us. I don't want to spend my whole vacation partying. And kyle and I aren't really big drinkers. So, we're thinking somewhere like the Oregon coast. Or somewhere fun like Disneyworld.

Well, there's not much more to say. So goodnight!

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!

Well, its been a long time! Kyle and I have both been very busy. School and work have both been so stressful! But we still wouldnt trade it for anything!

Thanksgiving was small this year. We both had to work so we just had a small dinner with my parents and sister's family. it was great! my mom made everything homemade! (which i miss so much) and dad made the turkey. We then made our way over to kyles parents house to say hi. We had a blast!

My 21st birthday was a few days later and kyle and i went out with my sister and her friend tyler. We went shopping that day and got new outfits and stuff, then we went downtown that night! it was so much fun! The more we grow up, the closer sarah and i get. she is definitely one of my best friends.

School has been really rough. I have had the worst semester by far. but im hoping for things to get better. i just have to keep on keepin on!

As Christmas approaches, Kyle and I are just very thankful to be home. Last year we made a one day trip to boise to see our family. This year, we are planning on waking up early Christmas morning, opening our presents, then going to my parents house to open more, then to his parents to open even more still! but this year there wont be a rush. we will be able to relax and spend time with our families. Im so excited!

Im so thankful to have kyle in my life. he keeps me in good spirits and happy. I love this man more than anything!

its been awhile.

Well, Kyle and I have had a rough semester. The first semester at BSU has been tough to adapt to. BSU is so much different than ISU. and so much further away from our house. ISU was ten minutes away, and bsu is 45 minutes away from our new house. so our 7:00 class is hard to get to when we both work until 12:00 or later the night before. But we wouldn't trade boise for anything. I love being home and so does Kyle.

Kyle broke his car about a week ago. its been in the shop. he slammed it into 2nd gear and broke something in the transmission. Luckily, its on a warranty so it will only cost us $100 to fix. but he needs new brakes and a new clutch too. but those will have to wait. we are BROKE!

We are finally all moved in, and with all the new stuff from the wedding, we have LOTS of old stuff to get rid of. We are finally getting to the point where we can hang stuff on the walls. but before i can do that, i have to go through the wedding pictures and get some of them blown up and framed. but our house is beginning to feel like HOME! we love it here. i can see us living here for a lot of years.

Nothing else is really new, so i'll post later!

Homeowners at last!

We finally closed on a house today! its absolutely gorgeous! we move in tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited! We have been waiting to buy one for a while because we were trying to sell the house we had in Pocatello. we did that at the beginning of the month and are now ready to move in! The house is in Meridian! its brand new, built this year. we are the first people to live in it. and did i mention that its gorgeous?!

Well, as for other news...

Kyle and I are both working for Albertsons. he's a manager and I'm a cashier. i couldn't be happier now. now that I'm not working for Home Depot!!! ha ha. We are both going to school full time at BSU. and it is so much better than Idaho State. we are so much happier here!

Both of our families are doing great as well. Kyle's mom Linda was diagnosed a couple years ago with ovarian cancer. she is doing amazing! her doctor has taken her off of Chemo because it is starting to hurt her digestive system. but she has no signs of cancer! We just keep plugging away. My dad is still working in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He's been there a little over 6 months i think. My niece is now 2. she is definitely in her terrible 2's stage. but she is still such a joy to be around!

well, once we get moved in, I'll post again.

This is new...

Ok, so I cant find my old blog. so this is a new one. Kyle and I moved from Boise to Pocatello in 2006 and back to Boise this year. We got married on June 28th and are currently living in his parents' basement (i know what you're thinking) but we are ever so grateful for where we are right now. We couldnt be happier! as long as we're together, we can do anything!

Kyle is working at albertsons as a front end manager. he has worked there for like 5 years now! i also work for albertsons. It was my first job, then when we moved i started at Home Depot in Pocatello. I moved back and hated the home depot in eagle, so i went back to albertsons and i love my job!

We got an offer on our house recently and we close on it September 5th! and then we will start working on a new place. im so excited!
