Well, we got my results. I'm not diabetic. But that also means they still don't know what's wrong. They said they think it's just the hypothyroidism and PCOS. They said it's not a big deal unless we are trying to get pregnant. And we aren't. We would like to wait until I'm out of school, ideally. The doctor said that when we do decide to have kids it will be difficult. But not impossible. We are in no hurry though. We figure that if we haven't had kids by 28, we will seek help. But I think that when the time is right, we wont have any problem. :) Until then, I am on a no-carb diet and we are getting in shape. It will only make things easier in the long run.
On a different note, I have decided to go back to school to Brown Mackie and get my degree in biomedical laboratory technology. :) (sounds smart huh?) Basically I will assist with research and lab results. It should be fun. Its about time I get my butt in gear and get done. Unless I want to be at Albertsons for the rest of my life. I can't even imagine that. I don't think I can work retail forever. People are just so DUMB! :)

whirlwind of medical problems!
Whoa! its been forever. I am obviously terrible at this blogging thing. Well let me catch you up on everything!
I am still working at albertsons. I dropped out of school temporarily because to be honest I had no idea what I wanted to do and felt like I was wasting my time and money. So this coming fall I am going to go to Brown Mackie I think and get my degree in medical assisting. Kyle is working at T-Mobile full time, Albertsons part time and his own computer business when he has time. He has been a money-making machine lately! :) He also dropped out of school for the same reason I did. Also because his mother has been really sick and so we took time to be with her. He will also be going back soon.
Taking time off has come in really handy though! Kyle and I have had a tough year. We originally went to the doctor because I hadn't had a period in 4 months but every pregnancy test I took was negative. So the doctor said I had Hypothyroidism. they put me on meds for that and said everything would be fine... then this past month I went back in because it had been 10 months without a period. So they ran more tests and said I had PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) which means my ovaries are coated in cysts which makes it so that i dont ovulate. no ovulation = no period. ( i know, TMI!) They put me on a no-carb diet and ran more tests. This morning, they called me again and said that my insulin levels are consistent with those who have type 2 diabetes, yay. So tomorrow I go in again for yet more tests, to find out if i am diabetic. At this point, i just want answers. Diabetes or not, Kyle and I are making life changes. Diabetes will not kill me! :)
My poor hubby has put up with so much! and he is in for much more. Thank goodness he loves me. I am becoming pretty expensive. He has been wonderful. I am so lucky to have him!
